Rally of The Tests 2012 – Thursday 8th November

Well today is the day and Torquay is the place.

Another 250 miles on the rebuilt engine, now with 500 on the clock and just beginning to loosen up a little, in time for scrutineering at Torquay Rugby Club, adjacent to the Grand Hotel, where service appears to be distinctly average.

No average service from the scrutineers however and after a very thorough inspection and some very decent compliments from the men from the MSA, we park up for the swapping of cogs for the Measured Distance, this afternoon round the bumpy and well parked streets of Torquay.

Tonight’s mission is the Prologue, for which we leave MTC1 here at the hotel at 1600. We start our first regularity of the rally of the tests at 1700 plus 21, running to just beyond 2021 and back to back via fuel and a quick wash and service as we need.

More later !
