Sunday morning
Saturday’s little escapade with our Argentinian steering rack dropped us from 3rd to 29th, which considering that we should have been home on a truck by then was good !
We did manage however to post some good times on the first 3 and made our way to the first TC of the day, where we took a very special delivery from a rally friend who had called in at blidworth to see Steve and his team ….. I’m especially grateful for this. A steering rack and a column UJ are now in hand, so we will finish the event.
Posted 3 more good tests times and made it to the Green Man Inn for the lunch control and more rally friends from the TR Register and HERO giving us their support. Thank you.
Some results at lunch …. Car 21 posted 6 class winning test times for the first six tests. We are back in the rally.
Beastie makes Chester …. Last gasp looks like 21st overall but we received a great reception at the finish ! And interviewed !
